Lights in Our Lives

Into this world when we enter
We take different paths to venture
But it is only with a mentor
That we reach to the peak's center.

My family nurtured me to create a better 'me'
My teachers enlightened my path to see,
the important that had been forgotten in life's sea.
While my friends taught me that it is okay to be carefree.

My family, friends and teachers are my light,
That glowed in the dark when I had lost all my might
They taught me how to fight
And I fought the world without a fright.
